Frequently Asked Questions

All you need to know about our dog walking services

FAQ

Pop-Up-Paws is a very simple concept. Here are the questions we are frequently asked…. if you have your own simply give me a call on 07730 574502.

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes.  Pop-up-Paws is insured with specialist animal trade insurers. Our insurance covers public liability; day care, custody, control and transportation of your dog.

Q: Can you collect or drop off my dog?

A: Yes. We provide a delivery and collection service within Sheffield for your dog. Charges are £10.00 for a pick-up and £10.00 for drop-off home. All members of the Pop-up-Paws team with access to client’s homes are DBS checked.

Q: What happens if my dog doesn’t get on with other dogs?

A: It’s really important your dog gets on well with other dogs. Before accepting your dog for their holiday, you will need to come to Pop-Up-Paws HQ and meet Ralphie, our resident dog, who will assess their suitability to home boarding. We only accept social dogs with no history of aggression. This ensures all of our dogs are happy in one another’s company, and reduces the risk of your dog not getting on with another dog.

Q: What happens in an emergency?

A: We hold a telephone list of all of our clients. In the event of an emergency, we will call you immediately to discuss the situation. If we can’t get hold of you and urgent medical attention is required we will take your pet to the nearest veterinary practice.

Q: Are there any requirements?

A: Yes, your dog must be microchipped, have a collar and tag, be fully vaccinated (including for Kennel Cough), and be non-aggressive.

Q: Does my dog have to be insured?

A: Although Pop-up-Paws is fully insured for public liability, day care, custody, control and transportation of your dog we always recommend that dogs are fully insured.
