Pop-Up-Paws is a very flexible and equal opportunity establishment. We happily welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes, irrespective of breed, colour and gender.

However, we do have to have strict criteria for four-legged guests staying at the Pop-Up Paws hotel so we can create the right environment for all our Pop-Up residents.

Pop-Up-Paws is suitable for dogs who are friendly, well socialised and enjoy living as part of a family, even puppies. We love looking after puppies and having puppy cuddles, we just ask that they’re fully house trained!

To give you a heads up, we can only board dogs that meet the following criteria:

• House trained
• Up to date with vaccinations, (vaccination must be given a minimum of 4 weeks prior to stay) proof of vaccination is required.
• Up to date with flea and worming treatment 
• Friendly and sociable with people and other dogs
• Have a sound basic level of obedience.
• Respectful of household property and possessions.
• Fully neutered dogs (excludes puppies). (Neutering must be completed a minimum of 8 weeks prior to stay).
• Unspayed bitches will be considered as long as they are not due to come into season during their stay.

It’s really important your dog gets on well with other dogs. Before accepting your dog for their holiday, you will need to come to Pop-Up-Paws HQ and meet Alfie, our resident dog, who will assess their suitability to home boarding. We only accept social dogs with no history of aggression. This ensures all of our dogs are happy in one another’s company, and reduces the risk of your dog not getting on with another dog.
